anonymous until it's mutual
There's someone you've thought about for months and never told. Lock a feeling for them. They'll know someone did — never that it was you, unless they feel the same.

The one you'd tell, if telling didn't cost anything.
If it couldn't make things weird at work. If it couldn't end a friendship you'd never get back. If they could say no without either of you having to look at each other again.
So you say nothing. For months. Sometimes for years.
TieHearts is for that.
You never have to say it out loud. You never find out you were rejected. Nothing happens unless it happens to both of you.

Pick someone whose number you already have. Choose love or like, and how strongly. Seal it.
two
They see that someone locked a feeling for them, and how strong it is. They do not see who. Not a hint, not a clue.
three
If they lock one back for you, both names appear at the same second. If they don't, nobody ever knows it was you.
Two people who each thought they were the only one. Both names, at the same moment, with nobody having had to go first.
The rules aren't promises in an app description. They're enforced by the database itself.
Not hidden in the app, not sent and withheld. The server never hands your identity to their phone until it's mutual or you choose to reveal.
There is no "they said no". If they don't feel it back, nothing happens and you're never told — because there is nothing to be told.
The picker reads your address book on the device. Nothing is uploaded. The only number that reaches us is the one you actually choose.
You can't spray feelings at everyone you know. The limit is the point: it keeps a locked feeling worth something.
Nobody here is a stranger. You already know them.
Only if you tell them, or if they lock a feeling for you too. There is no other path. Your identity is withheld by the server, not by the app, so even a modified app can't reveal it.
You can still lock a feeling for their number. It waits. If they join later, it's there for them. You choose whether to send them an invite yourself — we never message anyone on your behalf.
Yes. Let go of a feeling any time and it disappears completely, along with any chat. They're never told it existed.
No. One new feeling per person per day, seven at a time, and a sender can never message or notify you repeatedly. You can block and report anyone.
Nothing. No subscriptions, no paid reveals, no boosts. Charging someone to find out who loves them would be a horrible way to make money.
It takes about a minute, and they'll never know it was you unless they're glad it was.
